Residential Loan Originator (Gainesville Market)

Skills, Education and/or Experience Required:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of residential lending background, with application-taking experience
  • Strong knowledge of residential real estate regulatory compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of secondary mortgage market requirements
  • Knowledge of bank products and services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong sales and service skills
  • Registered or Obtain NMLS#

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include marketing mortgage products and conducting mortgage application interviews at various bank locations, as well as outside the bank. Obtaining complete loan application documentation, assisting in processing loan requests, and conducting loan closings. Developing outside referral opportunities by attending Realtor and Builder Association business functions, and making presentations at realtor and builder offices. Salary + Commission.

Residential Loan Assistant II

Skills, Education and/or Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years prior Residential Real Estate experience required
  • Typing 40 WPM
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Prior experience in processing and closing Mortgage Loans
  • Knowledge of real estate transactions
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Self-starter with ability to work under limited supervision
  • Resourceful in researching answers  to questions through policy/procedure manuals and training materials
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements
  • Registered or obtain NMLS#
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include counseling potential borrowers on various loan products. Preparing Residential Loan application packets. Preparing and distributing appropriate disclosures timely. Preparing loan documents and set up credit/loan files
