Financial Education:

Community Bank & Trust of Florida recognizes that financial literacy is the foundation that must exist for a community to thrive economically. Each year many of our employees volunteer their time to reach out to local schools and groups and provide classes on topics ranging from basic budgeting to identity theft.

In order to reach more people, we've provided the following links to the FDIC Money Smart financial education program. There are web based classes as well as printable resource books available in both Spanish and English.

We hope you find the materials helpful and informative. Please contact us at (352) 369-1000 if you are interested in having one of our experienced bankers provide a workshop for your classroom or group.

The Money Smart Computer Based Instruction (CBI) is a friendly and easy to use learning tool that teaches the modules of the Money Smart curriculum through a computer. The CBI is for users age 13 and over.

Each module generally takes between 20-30 minutes to complete. Students receive ongoing feedback and, upon successful completion of the module, can print out a personalized certificate of completion.
